Guys need love and affection just as much as anyone else. That’s the message singer-songwriter Pierre Da Silva is putting out there with his latest single, Boys Want Love Too. He’s calling out the societal pressures on men and boys to act all tough and macho, keeping their emotions bottled up. That kind of mindset doesn’t do anyone any favors. At the end of the day, we’re all human and we crave that sensation of love and connection, regardless of our gender.
Boys Want Love Too sounds wonderful. It’s mainly driven by acoustic guitars. But there’s also a solid rhythmic foundation present. The vocals are powerful and really embody the song’s philosophy.
