Pop artist, songwriter & producer Cass Reinhardt recently dropped Blame Me. She built the song around her guitar and started adding different textures on top of it. Echo reverb, space, and harmonics were used to give the vocal more presence.
Blame Me talks about not feeling bad about yourself, even when people are trying to make you feel guilty or responsible for something. And I think that’s a pretty solid tactic. If you’re constantly criticizing every little thing you do, you’re being way too harsh. We all deserve to cut ourselves some slack and show ourselves a little love and compassion from time to time. Nobody’s perfect, right?
