Canadian born and raised pop star Cameron Sage releases her new single She’s Not Me, produced by Nashville’s Josh Frigo. It has these lush guitars that give the verses a warm acoustic sound. When the chorus kicks in, it blossoms into this big, sweeping indie pop sound pop. I love how the vocals fit with the overall arrangement.
She’s Not Me talks about how it feels when you’re crushing hard on someone, but they’re into someone else. Listening to this song is like reading someone’s deepest thoughts as they navigate the ups and downs of being caught in a love triangle. Cameron shares, “I really wanted the feel of She’s Not Me to contrast the instrumental with the lyrics.”
