Amy Pinkus is an indie-pop artist from Toronto, Ontario. She releases her new single, How’s Your New Wife?. Throughout the song, she’s thinking about what her ex’s life is like now. Would he have a house or children, for example? Pinkus also wonders what their life together would be like if they stayed together. Although that will forever remain a question.
How’s Your New Wife? has catchy indie pop production. I like the way the acoustic guitar tones swirl around and how a wall of textures leans against them. The vocals have plenty of character, making them compelling.
