Rihanna is opening up about her personal and professional life in a new Harper’s BAZAAR cover story for March 2025. The global superstar, entrepreneur, and mother of two reflects on her long-awaited return to music, raising her children with A$AP Rocky, and the growth of her Fenty empire.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting Rihanna’s next album, often referred to as R9, but she reveals that the wait was necessary for her artistic growth. She dismisses rumors of a reggae-inspired album, explaining that her music no longer fits into a specific genre. “It has to be worth the wait,” she says, emphasizing that she couldn’t release anything that didn’t align with her artistic evolution.

Despite stepping away from releasing albums, Rihanna has remained busy. She contributed to the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever soundtrack and continues to run her successful brands, Fenty Beauty and Savage X Fenty. However, she admits that balancing her passions with motherhood hasn’t been easy. “Everything I love doing takes time away from my kids,” she confesses, sharing how it sometimes leads to feelings of guilt.

She also praises A$AP Rocky’s role as a father, joking that their sons, RZA and Riot, seem to adore him even more than her. “I’m like, ‘Do you know who carried you?’” she laughs, before admitting that seeing their bond is truly special.

With a new album in the works, a growing business empire, and her family at the center of it all, Rihanna is embracing this new phase of life—on her own terms.
