Genre-defying artist Empara Mi returns with I Can’t. It sees her battling with the absence of someone she cherished. While the world keeps spinning and people go about their lives laughing and living, she feels utterly alone, frozen in despair. She almost doesn’t seem to be able to breathe or think normally anymore.
Soaring melodies and ethereal production define this production. I like how the song slowly opens up and becomes more theatrical. The vocals carry heartfelt emotion that reflects Empara’s uncertainty about moving forward.
