It shows the emotional turmoil of coming face-to-face with someone from your past who remains completely unaware of the pain they once inflicted. As they interact with you, apparently unbothered and acting as if nothing ever happened, a wave of conflicting feelings surge through you.
I love the arrangement of this song. It blends a moody, uptempo sound with delicate vocals, rich guitars, and a captivating beat. Imagine Lorde meets Phoebe Bridges. Anyhow, it’s super fascinating.
