Rising singer-songwriter Brielle Kaga uses music to express what she feels. Thinking About You is the title track of her sophomore EP. It talks about nostalgia and longing for a past significant other. The lyrics bring comfort to the soul during this cold winter, as they’re so sentimental. You feel like you’ve stepped back in time.
Thinking About You has brilliant production. I enjoy all the different poppy textures and the way the chorus flips things upside down. The vocal variations across the song are also impressive, showing Brielle paid close attention to the task.
