NETA (Neta Harari) is a visionary singer-songwriter, actress, dancer, and visual artist from New York City. In her new single, Coffee Shop People, she reflects on the habitual nature of visiting coffee shops, where everyone stops by to get their daily caffeine fix and take part in the same old conversations day after day. Interestingly, she doesn’t even like coffee herself, but still finds herself among these ‘coffee shop people’ going through the motions.
Coffee Shop People sounds iconic thanks to its grungy guitar and trumpets. I like how it makes you dance while thinking about the context of the song. The vocals are saturated with honesty, so I have to give them praise for that.
