Shealagh Rose is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Hamilton, Ontario. She recently released her captivating new EP, Safe in Our Silence.
The standout focus track is Perth. It has this really chill, almost meditative vibe that just puts you at ease. The lyrics are all about finding solace and comfort in those deep, unspoken ties we share with the people closest to us.
For the recording, Shealagh tracked the piano at her teaching studio using some rented Rodes mics. It was a learning process for her to apply her mic technique knowledge so differently.
