Lefuturewave is a music blog based in the Netherlands. We feature emerging as well as established artists.
Tapeworms began as a shoegaze revival trio and now explore many subgenres including indie pop, electronic music, and art pop, proving they are much more than they seem. They share their new single, Pitch Pop. It reflects on how our personal biases and perspectives influence our relationships. They also convey the feeling of living in a big city and getting into its rhythm.
Musically, Pitch Pop impresses because of its lush synths and catchy beat. I love how bubbly it sounds. The vocals are dreamy, so they contrast well with everything else in the mix.
