Sometimes you hear an artist who speaks directly to your heart. Zah Savage is one of them. He employs an approach going beyond what you usually hear. And that’s why it’s awesome that he released a new album called Buh-Bye, giving us the chance to hear more of his music.
Lazy Sunday, which opens the project, has a cool vibe, mainly due to the mystical guitars and the drums that build some momentum at surprising moments. Don’t Like To Battle continues the established sound, but feels a little more fluid thanks to its commercial appeal. Stay Busy goes back to being experimental again, even having an atmospheric moment here and there, which I really like.
As you can read, the first three tunes are simply brilliant. But there is more. Know By Heart is equally good, especially the way the arrangement melds with the strong vocals. What you end up with is something that makes sense. I Dunno is also one of those songs you recognize instantly as being iconic. Same applies for the closer of the project, No Way Home, making you feel like you’re far away from where you’re located.
Lyrically, Buh-Bye talks about navigating change, feeling lost in transition, and holding onto meaningful moments while growing up. It captures nostalgia, frustration, and emotional complexity through lyrics relevant to today’s art-driven generation
Give a round of applause for Savage. He proves that by putting effort into things, you can achieve results. Buh-Bye is super polished. Check it out below!
