Singer-songwriter Francesca Morris releases Who You Know, the final track from her debut EP Previous Life. It talks about the awkward situation where you’ve broken up with someone, but still have friends in common. Every time you’re around your crew, their name keeps popping up and it’s like, ugh, can we please change the subject? The lyrics really capture that feeling of trying to move forward while your ex’s presence still haunts you.
I love the song’s production. Towards the end of the second chorus, it builds up quite a bit. The vocals align beautifully with the guitar melodies, communicating the lyrics in a pleasing way.
Morris continues to push herself creatively. Who You Know is iconic for its outstandingness. Check it out below!
