The Neighbourhood Watch’s brooding new single, Die This Happy, is the centerpiece of their brand new album, Mr. Skin and Bones. It speaks of the fear that perhaps the best moments in your life have already passed, and that there might be nothing to look forward to in the future. Feeling this way can be extremely stressful for your mental health.
I admire the continuous and changing flow of the song’s instrumental, which resembles life itself. The vocals bring over the lyrics with such intensity, especially when they get gritty.
