The hauntingly beautiful new single by singer-songwriter Love Spells (aka Sir Taegen C’aion Harris), Reach Out And Kiss Me, cannot go unnoticed. It has wonderful acoustic-guitar driven instrumentals that echo dream pop, but can also become quite dynamic. The vocals are super versatile, and they work well with what’s going on in the background.
Reach Out And Kiss challenges the idea that words alone, such as saying “I miss you”, are enough. Instead, it argues that genuine affection should be proven through actions. The lyrics depict a longing for real, actual connection: if someone truly misses you, they should show it by reaching out and being physically present.
