Singer-songwriter eggcorn releases her new single, Observer Effect. Drawing from the scientific principle that observation alters the observed, the song uses personal introspection, triggered by a period of physical downtime following a foot injury, to question the interplay between mind, body, and habit.
Observer Effect marks a significant departure from eggcorn’s earlier, synth-driven electronic style, as she now gravitates toward a pop-folk sound marked by rich, layered arrangements. The vocals are spot on as usual. Start listening below!
