Noa Banks found herself in the midst of an internal crisis after a weekend of partying. Feeling sad, she retreated to her bedroom where she wrote and produced so low. For Noa, the thrill of nightlife can feel exhilarating at first, but it’s fleeting. Soon after, she ends up feeling even worse than before. With so low, she shows the ups and downs of those experiences. No matter how much you try to avoid your feelings, they’ll always come back to you eventually
so low has an atmospheric indie production with meditative keys driving the sound. The vocals have a strong emotional foundation, keeping the momentum at the right pace. The structure of the chorus feels brilliant.
