Charlotte Haggerty recently released i wanna fall in love. It was born from a pivotal conversation with her girlfriend, who was initially unsure about committing to a relationship. Instead of getting all dramatic, Charlotte did something really sweet. She shared her heart through songwriting, letting her lyrics speak for how ready she was to go all in and fall deeply in love. Can you imagine getting a romantic gesture like that? Well, it totally worked its magic because after hearing the song, the two of them ended up dating for two whole years!
i wanna fall in love is the first tune off Charlotte’s debut EP Part 1, which tells the full story of this relationship from start to finish. In introducing this vulnerable and intimate body of work, Charlotte admits to a mixture of excitement and nervousness. “I’m still a bit scared,” she says, “but I’m excited to finally sing about everything I couldn’t say at the time.”
