Produced by Iain Berryman (whose credits include Chloe Slater, Nieve Ella, and Beabadoobee), the track unites the best of indie pop with Eden’s signature edge. The vocals ooze confidence.
As always, Eden’s lyrics are brilliant, capturing complicated emotional states with clarity and cleverness. Whether she’s questioning the way things have always been or pushing against the inertia of unchanging dynamics, there’s a persistent pulse of defiance beneath the poppiness.
