Oslo-based songwriter and producer Nadia Essah returns with her most personal and expansive work to date. Following the release of her 2023 debut EP Mood Swings, which featured a mix of jazz, R&B, and soul, Nadia has spent the last two years perfecting her sound. Now, with a fresh batch of songs in her pocket and a clearer vision, she steps confidently into 2025. Her new single, A Step At A Time, out now, marks the beginning of an exciting time for her.
Assembled with lush instrumentation, the song is a slow-burning meditation on the ways people relate to one another, from family to friendship to self-understanding. The lyrics reflect much thought. The vocals are brilliant, generating momentum at every turn.
