Canadian-based singer-songwriter ZADA has released Breath Away. Recorded at Vancouver’s HippoSonic Recording Studios with longtime collaborators Chin Injeti (Eminem, P!nk, J. Cole) and Brian West (Nelly Furtado, Sia, Bono), it sees her dipping into nostalgia-tinged indie pop, framed by sweeping major-chord progressions and digital drum patterns. Things sounds truly brilliant.
The lyrics are wonderous. In speaking about the track, ZADA says: “Breath Away is about the small infinities that people grant us and the echoes of their essence within us, how it takes your breath away.”
