Drew Elliott is an indie/alternative recording artist based in Nashville, TN. He releases his new single, I Hope I Never Leave Your Mind. The song deals with the process of letting go of a long distance relationship and the thoughts it brings. While Drew understands the situation in which he finds himself, he still hopes the girl never forgets who he is. Kinda cute, right?
I love the dreamy quality of the production here, though it also has moments where the energy becomes dynamic. In the second half, for example, there’s an ’80s-inspired guitar solo that really pops out.
