Belgian music producer and project blauwe plek releases his first original single, Dansen Door Het Water, featuring singer-songwriter Lil Alia. While its lyrics are Dutch, their appeal is universal. They talk about life and the beauty of watching someone shine even when things are dark for them.
Dansen Door Het Water has unique electronic textures that make me think of James Blake and Sef. The bass lines are rhythmic and pulse through the song like stars. The vocals, as expected, hit the right snare.
