LA-based singer-songwriter Jordie takes inspiration from artists such as Rihanna, Marc E. Bassy, and Maroon 5. Her latest single is called Cry Again. Its lyrics talk about the struggle of chasing a dream while growing older and dealing with constant uncertainty. You fear it might never come true, but at the same time, you know there’s no other road you’d rather take.
Cry Again features solid pop instrumentals that spin the melody. The vocals sound heartfelt, plus their dynamic arrangement set them apart. I’m very fond of the chorus because of how catchy it sounds.
