Swedish pop artist LOVA released her new single, It’s Alright via Nettwerk. Written as both a message to a struggling friend and a mirror held up to herself, it explores the silent but damaging instinct to say “I’m fine” when you’re anything but. The lyrics are for anyone who has ever smiled in the face of sadness.
Produced by Oskar Wildén (noted for work with Dagny and Tove Stryke), the track balances minimal, tasteful pop instrumentation with LOVA’s tender, expressive vocals. The simplicity of the production allows her lyrics to land with crystal clarity.
