At the same time, the song sheds light on the hidden battles many women face, touching on body image, self-worth, and the painful cycles of eating disorders.
“I’m so incredibly proud that I wrote a song that shines a light on two things that really resonate with me,” Averlie shares.
I love the production here. It’s upbeat and infectious, utilizing catchy hooks, pulsing synths, and a driving rhythm that gets your body moving. The vocals hold enough momentum, giving them the needed impact.
