It reframes the modern dating nightmare into a celebration of self-esteem and confidence. The lyrics are inspiring, giving you permission to be compassionate towards yourself. “He’s a little bitch, I’m a fucking star,” Rora declares during the second verse.
The production of this song rocks. It strikes a delicate balance between nostalgia and modernity. The deep, soulful bassline is especially appealing to me. The vocals are dynamic, making them obvious at any time.
