Sometimes, love and loyalty mean stepping back. For Frankie that truth became the heart of her latest release, Call Me When It’s over, born from the difficult experience of watching a friend lose themselves in a toxic relationship.
“My friend was dating someone that only seemed to cause drama, not just for my friend, but for everyone they were close to,” Frankie explains. “Sadly I had to distance myself, set some boundaries and love my friend from afar to protect my own peace.”
I love the production here. It reflects true energy. The vocals sound brilliant, bouncing forward with the needed conviction.
Through her signature mix of heartfelt lyricism and pop-infused sound, Frankie continues to show that her music isn’t meant to be listened to, but to be felt. Check out Call Me When It’s over below!
