Frances Eliza is an Asheville-based singer-songwriter and guitarist. Her new single, Kind Of Love, recently came out. Its lyrics depict the tension between reality and fantasy, showing how she keeps projecting and meaning onto a relationship that feels emotionally mismatched.
I love the vibe here. The song mixes clearly sung vocals over melodic guitars, a subtle bassline, and pounding drums. My favorite part has to be the first beat drop around 0:40.
