Based in Newport Pagnell, Buckinghamshire, Lillibet is a compelling young singer-songwriter known for her sophisticated and deeply reflective music. Last week, she released Love Her More. The song’s lyrics are inspired by a relationship Lillibet was in at the time, drawing parallels between a lover having a drug habit and infatuating another woman.
I love the arrangement here. It draws on American 60’s Country/Pop. The vocals are heartfelt, moving around with impressive passion. The chorus has a clever structure that makes it enjoyable to listen to.
