Lily like the flower is a 19-year-old something or other from Toronto who loves her chungas life. Recently, she released the new single Crater Maker. I’m pleasantly surprised by it. The song sounds so fantastic. Driven by beautiful acoustic guitar work, the sound progresses in impressive ways. The vocals don’t feel overly polished, but rather raw and honest, which enhances their quality.
Crater Maker is about being completely consumed by feelings for someone, at an age when love felt as central to Lily’s life as faith seemed to be for many of her religious friends. Although the chorus was written two years before the rest of the song, Lily now looks back on those feelings from a different perspective. The verses, written more recently, move away from the idea of worshipping another person and instead reflect on how love can inspire growth and the desire to become a better version of yourself.
With Crater Maker, Lily shows that she’s determined to achieve success with her music. A great deal of attention has been paid to every detail. Start listening below!
