Canadian musician, producer, and live streamer Alanna Matty makes songs from the heart. Bottle Up, from her new album Epilogue, is for anyone who has ever dealt with gaslighting for long periods of time and knows how hard it is to convince yourself that what you experience is real, whether it’s good or bad. The lyrics are beautifully written, so expressive and emotional.
Featuring moody piano and ethereal violin recorded by Justine Griffin, the arrangement is haunting. The vocals on top are of solid quality.
