Genre-bending indie artist svisi debuts her new single Something to Play With, inspired by Emily Brontë’s classic novel Wuthering Heights. Told from the perspective of a manipulative lover, the track explores obsessive love, guilt and the damage we can inflict on the people closest to us.
Something to Play With sounds compelling. It merges electronic elements, alternative rock and art-pop influences, bringing a different edge to the ballad format. The violin and piano take the lead, supported by guitar and bass. Vocally, svisi thrives from beginning to end.
Something to Play With is a striking choice for anyone who likes literary references, complicated love stories and music that takes a less predictable path. Check it out below!
