During the day, Megha reads scans in a New York City hospital; at night, she writes pop songs about the life she refuses to give up. Her new single, Midnight Strikes has been recently released, and honestly, it sounds so cool. A funky disco instrumentation dominates and makes you want to dance. Megha’s vocals sound epic, especially during the chorus.
The song’s lyrics are about the timeline everyone seems to be running on, but no one agreed to, and the kind of stalling that makes you ask a chatbot for relationship advice at 1 in the morning. The line “married? where is he? therapy. midnight strikes” says the rest.
