At just 16, Annabelle Tiffin tackles one of the most frustrating truths about attachment, which is that sometimes being remembered badly feels better than not being remembered at all. Motion Sickness captures that place of desperation where you’re so tangled up in someone that even their hatred feels like connection, like proof you mattered, like you still exist in their world somehow.
I like the arrangement of this song for its organic nature. Especially the guitar work makes a notable impact. The vocals are engaging, and they move fluidly from one note to the next.
