Kirsten Izer has been making a name for herself in the indie music scene. Some months ago, she released The Messenger. It talks about noticing nothing matters and feeling free once you realize that. Like, we don’t live forever. Why waste time trying to prove yourself over and over when you can enjoy being in the moment instead?
I love the arrangement, which went through three iterations to reach the current version, and is anchored by an acoustic guitar riff. There are wonderful ethereal vocals accompanying it.
Izer goes all the way with this song. Check out The Messenger below!
