raine likes writing songs and reading books about fairies. She releases her debut single, girls who don’t like girls. The song explores “the queer struggle of falling for straight people” with both a devastating and amusing edge. The lyrics will feel familiar to many people. It’s for this reason, too, that I think they’ll be so appreciated.
I like the sound of the song, which is primarily guitar-driven. The vocals are a bit dreamy, but they get enough momentum, making them exciting.
