Singer-songwriter Libby Ember shares her new single, To Her. Inspired by the frustration of wanting to connect while realizing the need to let go, she reflects on what it means to care deeply for someone emotionally unavailable
“This song was inspired by my own emotions and experiences when trying to get through to someone who just wasn’t opening up to me,” Libby says. “I was overworking myself and putting too much pressure on myself to be seen, so I just needed to let it go.”
I love the soundscape of this song, which is truly creative. Shiny acoustic guitars build slowly into a textured, emotional climax. The vocals are wonderful, making you believe every detail of the narrative.
