Kentish Town-born Madeleine Rose Witney marks the arrival of a new era with her debut EP From Now On, released alongside the stunning single Shut Up & Kiss Me via 5dB. Its lyrics are about tangled love, emotional release, and finding freedom in the moment when words fail and feeling takes over. They’re interesting to follow since they make so much sense.
The sound is smooth, mixing vintage pop and jazz-infused grooves with a modern, understated edge. Witney’s vocals are heartfelt, bouncing around impressively.
