Danny Kuttner is a Dutch-born, Israel-raised artist who blends jazz, Balearic and 90s neo-soul influences together. Knees can be heard on her new album, Lily. It talks about someone getting emotionally close to another person who’s scared of closeness. Kuttner sees their fear and knows they’re hiding or holding back, but still gives them space.
I love the sound of Knees, featuring a mellow yet groovy electronic production, topped with Danny’s clear, soulful and silky vocals. My favorite moment is the final section because of its vibe.
