Ella Conder is a 21-year-old musician living in Leeds. Her latest single, How Does It Feel?, came out recently. It examines the long-lasting impact of bullying, asking challenging questions about those who caused harm, as well as analyzing the residue of damaging, early “friendships”. The lyrics mix vulnerability and strength beautifully.
How Does It Feel? has convincing production. I’m particularly fond of its complex beat and atmospheric melodic textures. The vocals comfort your soul quickly with their warmth, making them next level.
