Melbourne-based pop artist Lara Villani turns up the heat on her new single Westside. The tune has catchy pop beats and melodies that don’t stick to familiar territory, but are quite experimental in nature. A particular highlight is the chorus because of how it moves.
Westside talks about the euphoric feeling when labels fade into the background and all that matters is how it feels. The lyrics are relatable for sure.
Following her debut EP Whiplash, which earned support from Rolling Stone, Earmilk, triple J, and more, Westside acts as the opening move of a huge year, including the release of five new songs and a writing camp in Italy later this year. Check it out below!
