Eve Whelan is an eighteen year old artist and musician from Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, Ireland. She released Reflection, her debut EP, three days ago. Five indie-style songs are included. A song like August can be considered a highlight. Its sound conveys authenticity very well. Throughout, you’ll hear vocals, calm drums, and some melodic elements. The profundity of the lyrics make them of high quality.
Eve says this about the song: ”August touches on the subject of heartbreak in the aftermath of losing a loved one. It was written about the immediate aftermath of the death when you would give anything to bring this person back and you search for signs of them everywhere.”
