Singer-songwriter Molly Hair shared her EP Optimist, which includes the track Optimist to a Fault. She wrote it on a bass guitar, so the bass is the primary instrument and the rest is built around it. The overall sound feels punchy, confident, and energizing. I love the sharpness of the vocals, as they get you hyped up.
Optimist to a Fault reflects the experience of being burned one too many times after placing too much trust in others. Hair understands this feeling deeply.
