Sophie Roes is a small independent artist from the Midwest. She recently dropped her new single lover, where are you?. It builds gradually and embodies the essence of folk music. The vocals are excellent, and they have a lot of depth.
I find it enjoyable to listen to the lyrics of this song. They’re about falling in love with someone whose future exists mostly in your imagination, and then grieving when reality does not match that vision.
