Kim Logan & the Silhouettes make alternative music about alchemy, against a backdrop of societal collapse. They recently released Heart of Crystal, which is part of their new LP Saturnalia. It has steady guitar work and compelling drum patterns. The vocals work well alongside the atmosphere.
The lyrics are fascinating throughout. Logan tells the story of how she raced from adversity to victory by choosing joy, love, and faith over fear, even when things seemed to be out of control.
