With over 42 million streams to her name, Amsterdam singer-songwriter Celine Cairo has arrived at a turning point in her career. Her new single, Panacea, is simply brilliant. I love its arrangement, which features instruments like piano, guitar, and cello. The vocals sound convincing, adding to the narrative’s strength.
Panacea was written after a solo trip through Asia, where Cairo felt some real freedom. In the song, she declares, “My head is above the water now,” a line that captures the feeling of a burden finally lifted from her shoulders. The accompanying music video, shot in Norway, underscores that feeling with expansive landscapes, water, and wild nature shots.
Celine delivers as usual here. Check out Panacea below!
