Freya Leiya is an East London-based alt R&B artist. She recently dropped Alone, which she wrote, composed, and co-produced in one sitting. It reflects on a messy breakup and the toll it took on her life, including moments like receiving a call from her ex claiming she was seeing someone else when she wasn’t.
The production’s dreamy atmosphere is fascinating, with the saxophone rising beautifully above the mix. The vocals are convincing, embodying true emotion.
