Australian-British Angelina Curtis has established a distinct space in Australia’s indie music scene. Last year, she dropped her new single, Stereo. It talks about the delicate dance of a relationship where timing never seems to line up and where giving your heart doesn’t always guarantee being seen. Angelina moves carefully because of this.
The production of Stereo is catchy, typically indie pop, with buzzing basses and bright, melodic hooks that are a nice complement to the song’s sentiment. The vocals are golden, and they really lift things up.
