In April 2026, Manchester-based singer-songwriter Lusaint will release the second part of her EP, The Apothecary (Pt. 2). To celebrate, she premieres brand new single Blind. It features incredible vocals that dance over jazzy pop accompaniment. The chorus builds to a crescendo of emotional vulnerability, with guitars, pianos, and drums, leading into breath-catching breaks that rekindle the momentum.
I appreciate the lyrics here because they’re so thoughtful. Lusaint keeps it real, for sure. Speaking on the single, she says: “Blind is about having the opportunity to get out from a situation while you can and gaining power from it. The habit of coming home to somebody every day when you know it isn’t right has finally ended and the weight is now lifted.”
